  • Cook the penne pasta according to package directions.

  • 1/2-3/4 cup crumbled bacon (Optional)
  • 1/2-3/4 cup chopped ham
  • 1/2 cup fresh mushrooms, chopped (optional)
  • 1 bottle Alfredo sauce, or 2 dry packets prepared according to directions,* or you can make the one below from scratch
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, grated and divided

*Alfredo Sauce:

  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4-1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper or more to the taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta according to package directions.
