What are some of the cookies that you like? I have a brother and his favorite cookies are snickerdoodles. I like them a lot, but I like these even better. Let me give you a little advice, first off, never stop appreciating what you have.
Now that I am a little older, I am getting so that I do not see as well and I cannot eat as many snickerdoodle pumpkin spice cookies or the pounds start sneaking on! Even when I am not looking. I just think that that is messed up!
And you know what, I think that I will be happy that I have this problem. What if I didn’t have cookies to make me gain weight! Now, that would be really rough. I think that sometimes I am turning into a kid again.
I tell myself, if I am really good and only eat 1 cookie, then in a while I can have another. Then in a while I have another and then in a while I have another, and you know how the story goes! So if you are like me, you just might want to hurry and put them in the freezer.

Snickerdoodle cookies are the first cookie that I learned how to make. My mother was on bed rest for a while when she was expecting one of my siblings and my brother wanted to make cookies.
He was so young that he could not read all of the ingredients and so my mother had the cookbook in her room and she told him each ingredient that he needed and he would go get that ingredient and add it to the mixing bowl. He eventually got the cookie dough made.
My older siblings then got home from school and helped him bake the cookies. The cookies were snickerdoodles and he still makes the best snickerdoodles around. I have always liked snickerdoodles and I also like pumpkin so I decided to add pumpkin pie spice to these cookies. I really like the way that these Snickerdoodle Pumpkin Spice Cookies turned out. And I hope that you will too.
Tips and Tricks For Snickerdoodle Pumpkin Spice Cookies:
To make pumpkin pie spice from scratch – mix the following ingredients together:
- 3 Tablespoons Ground Cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons Ground Ginger
- 2 teaspoons Nutmeg
- 1 1/2 teaspoon Ground Allspice
- 1 1/2 teaspoon Ground Cloves
Let me ask you this; have you ever heard about the survey they did for little kids? They told the kids if they would wait 1 minute while looking at a marshmallow, that after that 1 minute was up they could have 2 marshmallows.
Only 10 percent of the kids waited to eat the marshmallow. Can you believe it? Now if that was me, I would not have a problem waiting, I could even wait for 2 – 3 minutes. Maybe that is because I do not care for marshmallows.
My question is, how do I stop liking cookies so that I am not tempted to eat so many cookies. Maybe next time I will just tell myself that they are not cookies, but marshmallows, or sushi, or chopped liver, or even stuffing.
