Ingredients

Pudding:

  • 2 Tablespoons Chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup milk of your choice
  • 1 teaspoon sweetener, (honey, maple syrup, etc.)
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon

Toppings:

  • Berries, kiwi, mandarin oranges, bananas, pineapple, apples, chopped nuts, coconut, mini chocolate chips, peanut or nut butter, cinnamon, nutmeg or any spice that you like.

Instructions

  1. Place the chia seeds in a glass jar; I like to use ones that you make jam in. They hold about 1 cup.
  2. Next add the milk, sweetener, vanilla extract, and the spice that you choose.
  3. Allow the seeds to sit for about 20 minutes and give them a stir.
  4. Keep them in the refrigerator until the seeds swell and almost look like they will pop.
  5. In the morning, or after about 2 hours, add the topping to your chia pudding.
  6. Eat and enjoy.
