May be a dumb question, but do you cook the rice first for horchata?
Great question! No, you do not cook it first. Enjoy:)
Can I use min rice? I have like four boxes and don’t want to buy more rice if I don’t need to
I have never used it before, but what if you tried to 1/2 the recipe. That way you won’t be wasting as many ingredients if you don’t care for it. I don’t know why it wouldn’t work! What I would do, is prepare the rice as directed on the package then let it cool completely. Then follow the rest of the recipe! Best of luck.
Do I refrigerate this while it is soaking up the flavor?
Yes, I do set it in the refrigerator. I like to chill it then serve it over ice.
