  • In a mixing bowl cream the butter and sugar together, with an electric mixer or a stand mixer.
  • Next add the eggs, pumpkin, and the vanilla extract, and mix until combined.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg.
  • Then add the dry ingredients alternating with the milk.
  • Gently stir in the chocolate chips.

  • 1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 (12 ounce) package chocolate chips

  2. Prepare 2 (8.5" x 4.5") loaf pans, by lining the bottom with parchment paper or by spraying with non-stick cooking spray.
