  • Prepared horseradish
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • Sharp Cheddar cheese

How Do I Make Everything Bagel Cheese Ball?

Here’s the simple steps you’ll follow to make this cheese ball (scroll down for the full recipe):

 

  • In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese, 2 Tablespoons Everything Bagel Seasoning, sour cream, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, grated sharp cheddar cheese, and chives or green onions.
  • Mix together with a wooden spoon or large rubber scraper.
  • Place a large piece of plastic wrap on the counter top and then place your 1 1/2 Tablespoons Everything Bagel Seasoning, on the wrap.
  • Place your cream cheese mixture on top of the seasoning and form into a round ball.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for 1 1/2 – 2 hours.
  • Then unwrap your cheeseball and place it on a plate.
  • Add crackers, chips, vegetables, pretzels, or chips around the outside edge.

Tips and Tricks for Everything Bagel Cheese Ball:

 

  • One thing that I really enjoy is that you can make this Everything Bagel Cheese Ball the day before. They last in the refrigerator for about 2 weeks! 
  • You can also use other kinds of cheese; it doesn’t have to be sharp. Try white cheddar, or I like marble cheese.
  • And if you have a couple of son-in-laws like mine, you can even add some bacon to your Everything Bagel Cheese Ball, and they will like you even that much better.
  • If you do not care for pecans, you can use almonds or any other nut that you want.

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 3 1/2 Tablespoons Everything Bagel Seasoning (1 1/2 Tablespoons go on the outside of the cheese ball)
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup Sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons fresh chives or green onions
  • Serve with vegetables or crackers of your choice

Instructions

  1. *Remember to reserve 1 1/2 Tablespoons of Everything Bagel Seasoning and save it for the outside of your cheese ball.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix softened cream cheese, 2 Tablespoons of Everything Bagel Seasoning, sour cream, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, grated sharp cheddar cheese, and chives or green onions.
  3. Mix together with a wooden spoon or large rubber scraper.
  4. Place a large piece of plastic wrap on the counter top and then place your 1 1/2 Tablespoons Everything Bagel Seasoning, on the wrap.
  5. Place your cream cheese mixture on top of the seasoning and form into a round ball. Add more seasoning if necessary.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for 1 1/2 - 2 hours.
