Stir Fry Sauce:

  • Chicken broth
  • Soy sauce
  • Honey
  • Avocado or sesame oil
  • Rice or apple cider vinegar
  • Cornstarch

  • Boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • Bell pepper
  • Carrots
  • Broccoli florets

How Do I Make Chicken Stir Fry?

Here’s the simple steps you’ll follow to make this meal (scroll down for the full recipe):

 

Stir Fry Sauce:

  • Marinade the chicken in chicken broth, soy sauce, honey, oil, vinegar, cornstarch, ginger, and garlic; refrigerate for about 15-20 minutes.

 

Stir Fry:

  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the bell pepper, carrots, broccoli, onion, and water chestnuts.
  • Cook the vegetables until tender.
  • Remove and set aside.
  • Remove the chicken from marinade, reserving the liquid.
  • Place a little oil in the pan and place the chicken in the pan, cook for 3-4 minutes, then add the vegetables back into the pan.
  • Add the marinade, or stir fry sauce, into the skillet with the chicken and vegetables.
  • Cook for about another 5-8 minutes until the chicken is cooked and the vegetables are tender.

Ingredients

Stir Fry Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce (I use coconut aminos)
  • 1 Tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon avocado or sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon rice or apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Tablespoon cornstarch
  • 3/4 Tablespoon minced fresh ginger
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic

Stir Fry:

  • 2-3 Tablespoons avocado or sesame oil
  • 3 medium boneless skinless chicken breasts, cubed
  • 1 bell pepper, seeds removed and cut into thin slices
  • 1 cup carrots, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets, cut into small florets
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 (8 ounce) can water chestnuts, drained

Instructions
