Delicious Paleo Chocolate Cake is a cake made with almond flour, tapioca flour, and coconut flour. It is sweet, but not too sweet and a nice change from a regular chocolate cake. It truly is delicious.

If your are trying to eat just a little healthier and wanted a chocolate cake for a special occasion, this is the perfect cake. You can either use regular sugar or coconut sugar or even Swerve, which a lot of people that do Keto, use. What ever you choose, it will taste amazing.

I have added the recipe that I used for the frosting, below, but feel free to use your favorite Chocolate Frosting.

How Do I Make Delicious Paleo Chocolate Cake?

Here’s the simple steps you’ll follow to make this Cake (scroll down for the full recipe):

 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Prepare two 8″ or 9″ round baking pans by lining them with parchment paper.
  • Next in a large mixing bowl place the flours, sugar, cacao powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Add the eggs, milk, water, coconut oil, apple cider vinegar and vanilla extract. Mix gently for 2-3 minutes.
  • Divide the cake batter evenly between the 2 pans.
  • Bake for 25 – 30 minutes, or until a wooden pick comes out clean.
  • Remove the cakes from the oven and allow them to set for 7 – 10 minutes.
  • Then remove the cakes to a wire cooling rack.
  • Frost with your favorite chocolate frosting.

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cube butter 
  • 3 cups powdered sugar 
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

 

Instructions:

Ingredients

  • 3 cups almond flour
  • 1 cup tapioca flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • 2 cups Swerve (brand of sugar)
  • 1 1/4 cups raw cacao powder
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups full fat coconut or almond milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 1 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Instructions
