Tips and Tricks For Easy Caramel Apple Bites?
- Drizzling lemon juice over your apple bites will help your apple so that it doesn’t go brown.
- Use tooth picks to help hold the apple bite on the Rolo; or just cut the point off the apple, this will give it a nice flat surface to set on top of the Rolo.
- These apple bites will make a nice addition to any Halloween party or get together.
- These bites should be eaten the day you make them. The apple pieces retain their freshness and color even after a day, but once assembled, the treat as a whole will soften and not be as tasty. I like how simple these are to make. I think that I can handle these!
Yes they are very simple to make. Thank you for leaving a comment.
I want to make for tonight, but don’t want to make too early and have the pretzels get soft. How long will they keep?
They pretzels go soft in about 12 hours, but they are not too soft for about 48 hours. Hope this helps!:0
How do u keep apples from turning brown?
If you google it, you will find several methods; but my favorite (because it works and is simple) is to squeeze the juice of a lemon over the cut apple pieces. Thank you for coming by.
How do you store these? Fridge?
They are really better if you eat them soon after making them. The pretzels become soft. You can store the leftover apples in the fridge and then make new bites with them. Thank you for the question. I just added the info to the Tips and Tricks in the post.
This looks so good! What a great combination of flavors!
Thank you so much!:)
