- Box brownie mix (use your favorite) and the ingredients on the box, which usually are the next 3 ingredients:
- Vegetable oil
- Water
- Eggs
Peanut Butter Filling:
- Powdered sugar
- Butter
- Creamy peanut butter
Ganache:
- Semi sweet chocolate chips, can use milk, or dark chocolate chips
- Butter

How Do I Make Simple Buckeye Brownies?
Here’s the simple steps you’ll follow to make these Brownies (scroll down for the full recipe):
Brownies:
- Turn the oven to 350 degrees.
- Prepare a 9″ X 13″ baking pan.
- Make the brownies according to the package directions.
- Bake the brownies according to the package directions, and allow them to cool.
Peanut Butter Filling:
- In a medium bowl, place the powdered sugar, 1/2 cup butter, and the peanut butter. Mix this mixture to combine well.
- Next, place the mixture on top of the cooled brownies. Pat the peanut butter mixture down making it nice and even.
Ganache:
- Melt the chocolate chips and the 6 Tablespoons of butter in a small pan over low heat, mixing occasionally until the chocolate is melted.
- Spread the melted chocolate over the peanut butter mixture. Allow this layer to cool.
- Cut the brownies the size you want. Store any remaining brownies in an air tight container for 2-3 days.

- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
Ganache:
- 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips, can use milk, or dark chocolate chips
- 6 Tablespoons of butter
Instructions
Brownies:
- Turn the oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a 9" X 13" baking pan by spraying with non- stick cooking spray. Make the brownies according to the package directions.
- Bake the brownies according to the package directions, and allow them to cool.
Peanut Butter Filling:
- In a medium bowl, place the powdered sugar, 1/2 cup butter, and the peanut butter. Mix this mixture to combine well.
- Next, place the mixture on top of the cooled brownies. You may want to use your fingers. Pat the peanut butter mixture down making it nice and even.
Ganache:
- Melt the chocolate chips and the 6 Tablespoons of butter in a small pan over low heat, mixing occasionally until the chocolate is melted, or by placing the chocolate chips and the butter in a microwave safe bowl and melting in 20 second intervals until the mixture melts.
- Spread the melted chocolate over the peanut butter mixture. Allow this layer to cool. I like to put them in the refrigerator, but not necessary.
- Cut the brownies the size you want. Store any remaining brownies in an air tight container for 2 - 3 days.
