Green Jell-O salad was a wonderful salad that we ate a lot growing up. I will be honest with you, my favorite part of this salad is the topping. I think I could get a spoon and eat the whole pan before I put it on the salad!
What do I love about the topping? The topping is made with sugar and pineapple, then added to whipped cream. I am not sure if you could add it to Whipped topping because I am a farmer at heart and I just love the real cream. It is sweet and creamy with just a little taste of pineapple sweetness.
Green Jell-O is a staple here in Utah and I am sorry to say that this is the first green Jell-O recipe that I have posted. So glad that I am getting it together.
We use to have green Jell-O salad for special occasions like Thanksgiving or Christmas, but you can make it for any dinner, special or regular.
Green Jell-O could also be used as a dessert. That is if you do not eat all the topping first!

Oh wonderful, I will have to try lemon, that sounds wonderful. And if I am really ambitious, I will add a lemon custard in the middle! 😉
