How Do I Make Texas Sheet Cake Cookies?
Here’s the simple steps you’ll follow to make these Cookies (scroll down for the full recipe):
Cookies:
- Place the cake mix into a mixing bowl and then add the whisked eggs, oil, and the baking powder.
- Next use the medium cookie scoop and place the dough on a baking sheet that has a baking mat or parchment paper on it.
- I put about 6 cookies on at a time.
- Bake the cookies for 7-9 minutes, then allow the cookies to cool on the baking pan for 5 minutes, before removing them to a cooling rack.
Frosting:
- In a medium pan, place the butter, cocoa and milk.
- Over medium heat, whisk the ingredients until the butter is melted and the mixture is combined.
- Remove from the heat and add the vanilla and powdered sugar.
- Slowly pour the frosting over the cookies.
- Use a knife to help cover each cookie, if necessary, trying to cover each cookie.
- Allow the frosting to set up.
- If you like a lot of frosting, go ahead and completely cover your cookie.

Ingredients

- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 2 eggs (whisked nice and fluffy)
- 1/3 cup oil (I like to use olive or avocado)
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 Tablespoons Cocoa
- 3 Tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
