Monster cookies are so big, yummy and chewy; that is why they are called monster cookies. They are loaded with chocolate and peanut butter. They have some oatmeal and if this isn’t enough, you can always add coconut or pecans. That is the great thing about them, you can add whatever you like.
I love peanut butter M&M’s so I put them in anything I can. The original recipe was double this batch, but it makes a lot. and so I cut it in half. If you need to take a lot of cookies somewhere you can just double the recipe.
Also, I always have to bake one batch about 3 minutes longer than most of the batches, because my husband like them a little crunchy to dip in his milk.

I like mine a little less done. My very favorite way is to get a bowl of vanilla ice cream and then add a cookie straight out of the oven after it has baked for about 8 minutes. Now that is some good cookie dough ice cream.
I am pretty sure i came up with cookie dough ice cream before the ice cream companies did! Try it some time. Oh ya, just let the other cookies finish baking. You deserve a treat today, so try it. You will be glad you did.
