- Low-sodium soy sauce
- Rice vinegar
- Ketchup
- Brown sugar

How Do I Make Crockpot Cashew Chicken?
Here’s the simple steps you’ll follow to make this Chicken (scroll down for the full recipe):
- Combine the flour and black pepper in a resealable plastic food bag. Add chicken and then shake the bag to coat the chicken.
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-heat and then brown the chicken. Remove the chicken and place it into a slow cooker.
- Combine the soy sauce, vinegar, ketchup, sugar, garlic, ginger and the pepper flakes in a small bowl; then pour it over the chicken.
- Cook in the slow cooker or crockpot for 2 – 3 hours on low.
- About 5 minutes before serving, add the cashews.
- Serve over rice, or to the side of rice, fried rice or even noodles.

- 2 pounds (or about 4 medium) chicken breasts, boneless & skinless, cut into pieces or cubed
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour or 1/8 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 Tablespoon oil
- 3/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 3 Tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 large garlic cloves minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 - 1 cup cashews, unsalted or to your liking
