I do forget that when I am having a bad day, so I need to remember that if I never had a bad day, how would I know if I was having a good day? So remember, the next time you are feeling down, you know what that feels like because you have had better days and felt better before.

Sometimes when our kids are having a hard time in life, we tend to want to make everything better. I forget that they too, need to experience different emotions in life. It truly is hard to watch sometimes, and we do want to make things perfect for them. I guess we just want them to be happy.

Do you ever wonder how they will survive their children if we coddle them too much? I guess that it just hurts when your kids hurt. Then again we must remember that how will you ever know the good times if you do not experience the sad. And how will you ever become better if you just stay the same?

  • You can use any cooked chicken, even chicken patties, or rotisserie chicken, the chicken doesn’t have to be breaded.
  • Some Swiss cheese is stronger than others so be careful when picking your cheese so that the flavor isn’t over powering.
  • If you do not have cubed ham, you could also use Buddig meat and place it on top of the chicken.

My grandson told his mom, “I can’t eat that mom, the cheese is too rich”.  I was thinking really, do you even know what rich is?  So when I made it again, I just did half Swiss and half Mozzarella; that way it wasn’t as strong tasting.  However my hubby loves Swiss so he would eat it with all Swiss.

That is one nice thing about this, you can do what you want.  Start to finish, you can have this on the table in about 45 minutes.  I can say that every person that has tried this at my house, besides my grandson, has enjoyed this casserole and it has been slicked it up every time I have made it.
