Best Classic Chicken Parmesan is surprisingly quick and easy to make, and tastes amazing. It has a parmesan crust that seals in the juicy chicken breast, topped with Homemade Marinara and melted cheese. Since this chicken is breaded and covered in sauce, it also reheats well if you have any leftovers.

Tips and Tricks For Best Classic Parmesan Chicken:
What About Cheese?
- Most people prefer Mozzarella, but my husband likes Pepper Jack on his chicken. You can use whatever kind of cheese you want on your chicken.
- I have also used powdered Parmesan if I don’t have any grated Parmesan.
- I like to add my cheese the last few minutes, otherwise it gets a little too overbaked.
Are There any Shortcuts to Speed up the Process of Making Best Classic Chicken Parmesan?
- Buy 6 chicken cutlets to use, then you shouldn’t need to halve them.
- Use quality store-bought marinara sauce instead of making this homemade version.
- Pre-sliced and pre-shredded cheeses can be used, instead of slicing and shredding the cheeses yourself.
What Can I Serve with Best Classic Chicken Parmesan?
- Rice.
- Pasta of your choice.
- I also like to serve it with garlic bread or cheese bread.
- Green beans are also fun to serve on the side, or asparagus, if it is the right time of year.

Mmm! I just love chicken parm. My husband isn’t a fan, so I will see about splitting this recipe in half, and have for lunch.
Making half is a great idea. Maybe just leave your husbands plain or if it is the sauce he doesn’t care for, just add cheese.;)
