Tips and Tricks For Ranch Chicken Bacon Foil Packets:
- We really enjoy the option of cooking these foil packets indoors, or outdoors on the Traeger or on the grill.
- Add Carrots and onions or not, depending on whether you want them, or add any veggies that you want.
- You can also cook ranch chicken bacon foil packets while you are camping, however if you cook them in the fire, make sure to double your foil, or use a nice heavy duty foil.
- I like to quarter or half the potatoes; that way they cook faster. I also cut the chicken into bite size pieces, so that they cook faster too.

Can this be done ahead, and frozen?
That is a great question. I was thinking about the potatoes and that they might turn black? I know when they freeze hash browns they are usually slightly cooked. So if you slightly cooked them, they might be over cooked by the time you get the chicken up to temperature. Next time I make them, I will have to try and make one ahead of time, freeze it and give it a try. Also, let me know if you try it? Thank you!
