- Creamy peanut butter
- Brown sugar
- Granulated sugar
- Large egg
- Vanilla extract
- Baking soda
- Salt
- All purpose flour
- Chocolate kisses

How Do I Make Peanut Butter Blossom Cookies?
Here’s the simple steps you’ll follow to make these Cookies (scroll down for the full recipe):
- In large mixing bowl, add the butter, peanut butter, and both sugars, then mix them together until well combined.
- Next add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until they are nicely incorporated.
- Then add the baking soda, salt, and flour, and mix to combine.
- Using a 1″ cookie scoop, roll the dough into balls. Next place the extra 1/8 cup of sugar into a small bowl. Then place the cookie ball into the sugar and mix it around until the dough ball is coated in sugar.
- Place the the cookie dough balls onto a baking sheet about 2″ apart.
- Bake the cookies for 8 – 10 minutes.
- After you take the cookies out of the oven, place a chocolate kiss in the center of each cookie and press it down. Allow the cookies to cool.
- Store the cookies in an air tight container for up to 6 – 7 days.

Tips and Tricks for Peanut Butter Blossom Cookies:
- Use a room temperature egg.
- Use a no-stir creamy peanut butter. NOT a natural peanut butter, as it separates and does not work well.
- Freeze the Hershey’s kisses to keep them from melting. This has never been a problem for me, but if your workspace is too warm, freezing the Hershey’s kisses for about 10 minutes will help them keep their shape.
- Let your children or grandchildren help. They are great at helping unwrap the Hershey’s kisses and rolling the cookie dough balls in the sugar.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar, additional 1/8 cup for coating cookies before baking
- 1 large egg, @ room temperature
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 30 chocolate kisses, unwrapped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
- In large mixing bowl or standard mixer, add the butter, peanut butter, and both sugars, then mix them together until well combined.
- Next add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until they are nicely incorporated, making sure to scrape the sides of the bowl so that every thing in your bowl is mixed together.
- Then add the baking soda, salt, and flour, and mix to combine.
- Using a 1" cookie scoop, roll the dough into balls. Next place the extra 1/8 cup of sugar into a small bowl. Then place the cookie ball into the sugar and mix it around until the dough ball is coated in sugar.
- Place the the cookie dough balls onto a baking sheet about 2" apart.
- Bake the cookies for 8 - 10 minutes, depending on your oven.
- After you take the cookies out of the oven, place the chocolate kiss in the center of the cookie and press it down slightly. It is okay that the cookie cracks. Then allow the cookie to cool on the cookie sheet. Cool until the chocolate kiss has time to set back up.
- Store the cookies in an air tight container for up to 6 - 7 days.
