How Do I Make Favorite Banana Cream Pie?

Here’s the simple steps you’ll follow to make this Pie (scroll down for the full recipe):

 

  • In a medium size bowl, whip 1 pint of cream, sweeten with 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and 1/3 cup powdered sugar.
  • In a large bowl, mix the cream cheese until nice and fluffy.
  • Fold in the 1 pint of heavy cream that you sweetened.
  • Then fold in sweetened condensed milk to the mixture.
  • In a medium size bowl, add the dry Instant Vanilla Pudding mix and mix in 1 1/2 cups milk.
  • Then fold the mixed pudding into the mixture that is in the large bowl.
  • In the cooled pie crust, add 1/4 of the mixture. Slice 1 of the bananas on top of the mixture, then cover with 1/4 more of the mixture. 
  • Cover with plastic wrap, place in refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  • Right before serving, whip the other pint of cream, sweeten by adding 1/4 – 1/3 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.

  • You can make one very large pie.
  • But I like to make 2 pies and share with someone, or if you have guests coming, then 2 pies are perfect.

 

 

Can I Use More or Less Bananas?

 

  • Use the amount of bananas that you prefer.
  • If you like a lot of bananas, you can make 2 layers in the middle.
  • Or you could put one layer in the middle and one layer on the top and then cover them with whipped cream that has been sweetened.

Ingredients

  • 2 pints of Heavy Cream
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1/3 cup granulated or powdered Sugar
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
  • 1 (14 ounce) can Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 large Instant Vanilla Pudding
  • 1 1/2 cups milk (can use water, but only use 1 cup)
  • 2 - 3 bananas
  • 1 Baked pie crust (cooled) or graham cracker crust works great too

Instructions

  9. Right before serving, whip the other pint of cream, sweeten by adding 1/4 - 1/3 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
  10. Garnish as desired.
