How Do I Make Amazing Steak Marinade?
Here’s the simple steps you’ll follow to make this Marinade (scroll down for the full recipe):
- In a small bow, whisk together soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, Italian seasoning, olive oil, lemon juice, pepper, salt and cayenne pepper.
- Place the steaks in a resealable zip lock baggie or a large bowl, marinade the steaks and allow them to set in the refrigerator for 2 hours or over night.
- Preheat a grill to medium-heat. Place the steaks from the marinade onto the grill until it is the temperature you prefer.
- Allow the steaks to rest for 5 minutes before enjoying.
- Garnish with butter and fresh or dried parsley.

Which Steaks Are Best:
It really depends on individual preference:
- I like to use rib eye steak.
- Beef steaks are a high quality steak and are a little more budget friendly than prime, they just don’t have quite as much marbling.
- Some people like to use New York strip steaks or top sirloin, flank or skirt steak.
- Also there is Petite sirloin or flat iron, however, they are not as tender.
How Long is Best to Marinade Steak?
- For at least 30 minutes and up to 8 hours.
- If you go longer than 8 hours, the acidity in the marinade will break down the proteins and turn the outer layer a little mushy.
