- Cocoa powder
- Baking soda
- Salt
- Butter
- Brown sugar
- White sugar
- Egg
- Vanilla extract
- Semisweet chocolate chips

How Do I Make Double Chocolate Chip Cookies?
Here’s the simple steps you’ll follow to make these Cookies (scroll down for the full recipe):
- In a medium bowl, place the flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt.
- Then using a mixing bowl, place the butter and sugars. Mix on medium until incorporated together.
- Next add the egg and vanilla, mix until well combined. Scrape the sides of the bowl to make sure the butter is nicely mixed in.
- Slowly add the flour mixture, mixing only until the flour is mixed in.
- Mix in the chocolate chips.
- Using the size of cookie scoop that you prefer, place 8 dough balls onto the baking sheet leaving space in-between the dough balls.
- Bake the cookies for 10 – 12 minutes or until the center of the cookies are done.
- Then remove them from the oven and place them onto a cooling rack.
How Do I Store These Cookies?
- You can store the cookies in an air tight container for up to 3 – 4 days.
- Or place the cookies in the freezer in an air tight container for up to 3 months.

- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter slightly melted
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chocolate chunks or larger chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Then place a baking mat or parchment paper on 2 baking sheets.
- In a medium bowl, place the flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt.

- Next add the egg and vanilla, mix until well combined. Scrape the sides of the bowl to make sure the butter is nicely mixed in.
