Juicy oven baked chicken is one of my favorite go to recipes. It cooks up so fast and you can have your dinner on the table in less than one hour.

The spices and olive oil hold in the juices, making this juicy oven baked chicken moist and tender. If you have younger kids that are not too big on spicy, go ahead and leave out all the chili powder.

What Does it Mean to Rest a Chicken?

  • Resting the chicken means letting it sit after taking it out of the oven before you serve it. This gives the chicken time to continue to cook, seal in the juices, and cool down enough for you to serve.
