Pork Chops:
- Pork chops, bone-in or boneless
- Onion powder
- Garlic powder
- Cayenne pepper
- Seasoning salt
- Black pepper
- Olive oil
- All-purpose flour

How Do I Make Moist Tender Pork Chops?
Here’s the simple steps you’ll follow to make these Pork Chops (scroll down for the full recipe):
Pork Chops:
- With a paper towel, pat the pork chops dry.
- Season the chops with onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, seasoning salt black pepper, and a few drizzles of olive oil. Rubbing each pork chop to coat the outside.
- Next place each pork chop in flour, then shake off any excess.
- In a hot frying pan, place the olive oil and then the pork chops, in a single layer.
- Brown each pork chop for 4-5 minutes on each side.
- Remove the pork chops from the pan and cover them up to keep them warm.
Gravy:
- In the same frying pan, over medium heat place the butter.
- Next add the sliced onions and the salt. Cook until the onions are nice and soft and caramelized. If the pan becomes too dry, add a couple of Tablespoons of broth.
- Add the garlic and thyme and cook for an additional 30 seconds to 1 minute.
- Take 2 Tablespoons of the flour and place it in the pan. Mix into the onions until mixture is mixed for about 2 minutes.
- Add the broth, making sure to scrape down the sides, the mixture should be thicker.
- Next whisk in the cream and simmer for 1-2 minutes, or until the mixture has a gravy like texture.
- Add the pork chops back into the pan and cover them with gravy.
- Allow the mixture to simmer on low for 4-5 minutes.
- If the gravy becomes too thick, add a little more broth.
- Add additional salt and pepper if desired.
- Garnish with Parsley, if desired.

- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of dried or fresh thyme
- 2 Tablespoons flour
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- Parsley (optional)

- Brown each pork chop for 4-5 minutes on each side depending on the thickness. If you have a meat thermometer make sure your pork chops cook to at least 145 degrees.
- Remove the pork chops from the pan and cover them up to keep them warm.
