I hope that you all had a wonderful Mother’s Day! I sure did. We had this hamburger pasta casserole bake. I have amazing children and a wonderful husband. I got some chocolate covered strawberries that where amazing, but I’ve decided that I have some growing to do. My husband bought a side by side and so my family got me a new helmet for Mother’s Day.
Now I know that you are suppose to wear a helmet when riding, but I figured that I would just borrow one of the many that we have around here. Yes, I know that they do get a little, or a lot, stinky, so I guess that it is best to have your own stink on your head! Right!! Sometimes I need to be better about appreciating gifts from others. My husband is very good at remembering me on every birthday and every holiday. He is truly amazing.
Sometimes I guess that it is just hard to hide your true feelings. I keep telling myself that it is time to sit back and rock the grand babies, but my husband wants to be 18 again, so I guess that it is time to start getting younger. Now will someone please tell my body that? If you happen to see me out on the side by side with my new helmet on—wave!!! Now on to the Hamburger Pasta Casserole Bake!

I got this Hamburger Pasta Casserole Bake recipe from our family cook book. You won’t believe this but there are 89 grand kids! Yep, that is right. My mother was the oldest of 11 children. And my second child was the 200th great grandchild but I am going to have to do my homework beyond that because I must say, I don’t know how many great grandchildren there are now.
My grandparents raised amazing children. They taught them good work ethics. Anyway, we have a family cookbook with a lot of amazing recipes that were contributed by family members. Some of my very best memories were playing with my cousins; I had about 5 that were very close to my age that lived within a 5 mile radius that I got to play with regularly. We had sleepovers and we just had a lot of fun times hanging together.
Tips and Tricks For Hamburger Pasta Casserole Bake:
- Hamburger Pasta Casserole Bake makes a lot so if you do not need to feed more than 6 people, you might want to cut the recipe in half.
- You can use elbow macaroni or any small noodles in place of the shell noodles.
This recipe is from one of my cousins that I did more with after we were married. We lived close to each other and I use to cut her family members’ hair. Then they moved, and we moved in the opposite direction and now we are a couple of hours apart. So we only see each other once in awhile. I sure miss all of my cousins.
Some of my cousins lived in Hawaii and some in Alaska. I never got to go to Alaska, but I did get to go to Hawaii when I was eight. What a blast. Then we stopped in New Mexico on our way home from Hawaii and saw my cousins that lived there. Talk about 2 extremes! But the company was the best at each place. They took very good care of us and it was a once in a life time experience.
My son that is married told me to try this recipe. I love when your kids come up with great ideas, as they have amazing knowledge and experience to share, and we can always learn from them. And it was good. I hope that you will enjoy this Hamburger Pasta Casserole Bake as much as we did.
