Filling:
- Peanut butter
- Butter
- Powdered sugar
- Vanilla extract
Chocolate:
- Vanilla coating dipping chocolate
- Coconut oil, vegetable oil, or butter
- *Optional: Food Coloring
How Do I Make Peanut Butter Easter Eggs?
Here’s the simple steps you’ll follow to make these Candy Easter Eggs (scroll down for the full recipe):
Filling:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, butter, vanilla extract and powdered sugar.
- Cover the mixture and place it into the refrigerator.
- Using an egg shaped cookie cutter, make the dough into egg shapes.
- Then place the dough into the freezer for about 15 – 20 minutes.
Chocolate:
- Place the vanilla coating into a microwave safe dish. Melt by using a power level 5.
- Then take and place the eggs one at a time into the dipping chocolate. After they are dipped, place them onto a piece of waxed paper.
- Then decorate with different colors of chocolate, sprinkles or small flowers.
- Store left over eggs in the refrigerator, to keep them fresh.

What If I Don’t Have an Egg Shaped Cookie Cutter?
- Roll the dough into a ball and flatten into a circle.
- Shape one end of the circle like an egg.

- Make sure to chill the dough that has been made into egg shapes as it makes them much easier to coat with chocolate.
- Let the chocolate cool for a few minutes before dipping the egg shapes in it.

Ingredients

- 1 cup smooth peanut butter
- 3 Tablespoons butter
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Chocolate:
- 12 ounces vanilla coating dipping chocolate
- 1 - 2 teaspoons coconut oil, vegetable oil, or butter
- *Optional: Food Coloring
Instructions
