New Baby Spring Quilt. I am so excited that I finished my 5th grand child’s quilt! I love the way it turned out and I know that it is not perfect, but I like to call it progress! It was fun learning and my very first time to quilt on the sewing machine.
I loved the cute little charm packet that I found @ Ben Franklin’s. It had the cute little bunnies and the beautiful spring flowers.
Then I went to YouTube and learned how to make pinwheels. I also put a nice soft minky on the back. Then I put the binding on with scraps.
I also have a neighbor that is amazing at quilting and so I asked her opinion on a few things. I hope you enjoy seeing my New Baby Spring Quilt as much as I enjoyed making it.
XOXO,
Amy
It is absolutely beautiful! What a labor of love and looks worth the effort for sure!
Thank you Carlee! You are so right. I decided that it was also like a good recipe, good therapy! I hope that you enjoyed your Easter. It is funny how different it is when your kids grow up.
Love, love, love this Amy!! So pretty! I wish we lived close to each other so you could teach me. I have such an admiration for those that can quilt and yours turned out beautiful!!
Thank you Kelly! I wish I lived by you so you could give me a cookie class. I love how you are so amazing at helping out the community and I can tell that they love you! Thanks for being so amazing!
